Mario's Journal:
Day 8
We had to fight off a wiggler that was blocking the way to the red chuckola fruit. Once we showed all the fruit to Chuckleroot, he let us pass...and then Popple and Bowser ran right past us.
We dashed after them, but...we had nothing to worry about. The maker of the Chuckola Reserve was here. His name is Bubbles. Bubbles was already working on a batch that turned into a monster! It had already overpowered Popple and Bowser.
Luigi and I were able to take down the monster, though Luigi had to distract Bubbles since he kept trying to heal the monster with his jokes. Once the monster was subdued and restored back to the barrel it came from, Bubbles angrily shattered the ground at our feet and we fell.
I fell into the barrel of chuckola...head first. I could barely move or breathe. Within minutes I blacked out. I don't know what happened, but I remember waking up at BeanBean Castle. I was coughing a lot. Luigi explained that he got me to the castle and was able to use the Chuckola Reserve to restore Queen Bean. He didn't want to tell me any of the details though. That may be for the best.
Queen Bean is already several steps ahead of Cackletta. Peasley has actually been tracking Cackletta and found out where she's hiding now. Cackletta's at Woohoo Hooniversity. We'll be heading over there soon.
