Seems like Trimming the Herbs got a hacked clear... well, business as usual and we keep marching on for the actual clear. Today we have four more clears from December of 2023.

Painful level. Annoying to not lose the shellmet early. I initially thought the beetle/Yoshi segment with the munchers was broken as the hsell wouldn't hit the pow fast enough sometimes... until I realized I didn't have to run. It looks designed to be a speedrun section but I aint about that life.

Really cool beginning but then it got a little strange with hidden key. Then a cool dodging section except you could pretty much stay in one spot. Also, tfw you forget the route you mapped out. I was trying to take damage from falling Bowser but didn't realize a star was there. Totally forgot there was a spike at the end. I don't know if you could use spike helmet to kill the muncher on the axe as it never worked for me but WR is free if you want it.

I wish it wasnt so. No, not an April Fools. Nintendo has shutdown our beloved Mario Maker 1 bookmark site and levels can no longer be uploaded. Inspired by my Canadian brothers ahoyo and Braden who have uploaded Bombs5 and still attempting to clear check Trials of Death respectively, only fitting that I add my own entry for final level.
After so many years of grinding blind kaizo race levels painfully, just imagine all the knowledge and setups I have learned. What better way to showcase it all than to also pay homage to my mentor Carlsagans personal mantra...
I have learned nothing.
Just a really boring survival level. This is a nerfed version as the original had the firebars one tick longer and was just pointlessly annoying. The firebar cycle does not always lineup with the muncher so there are moments where you will get hit by the firebar no matter what unless you change the timing and length of your boot flutter, or ground pound stall.
Its a sad day but I will save my final words and closing thoughts for a later video since I am still trying to grind out the remaining 7 race levels so Mario Maker 1 isnt over for me yet. Apologies for the long hiatuses in uploads as I am currently dealing with some major IRL stuff at the moment.
As a reminder, the rest of the completed BKRs will still be uploaded and the bookmark site links will still be used despite being broken. No convenient link for this level since none of you should be playing it. On the bright side, Mario Maker 2 continues to be safe from having any of my level design to grace its system...
...for now.

Video spliced at pipe since I died after checkpoint. Random BS, not every Japanese level is like this but is what it is. I think in editor I was able to go over the noteblock at the top of the screen, hence why I was a bit confused there. Good to have backup strats.

Fun level but the title lied, I didnt have to spin jump at the end. Not sure if it was an oversight, but the creator didnt force you to go through the mini maze at the end.

Level was found by Riley but he skipped it as he couldnt figure out how to hit the pow from jumping off Yoshi. He forgot a P switch was active so was trying to figure out some super secret tech to do it. I got you man. I hated the start of this level though, it was stupidly precise avoiding the burner and doing a low jump past the ground spike. Then catch and quickly throw the green shell with speed so it actually hits the pow wall and not get killed from collision with big Koopa. Then the stupidly precise jump over the gap but not too high or you hit the falling saw. Everything else was fine.

I almost quit this one at the second trick until I realized it was the pow duplication glitch which I learned from AfroKanade/KanadeKids a few years back. Also, I definitely cheesed the third section. Im guessing the intended is grab pow, jump off Hana-chan, throw pow up so it picks up the p switch and flower stack. Land on spring, jump off it and jump into the falling pow, grab p switch, automatically collect the flower, then do a midair p jump to the right while avoiding the falling saw. Yeah screw that.

Our dear friend Jun is back. We played a level of his a long time ago and this was his last remaining uncleared. We get to kill Yoshi so it was perfect. I figured everything out with a consistent strat except for the sideways spring spit. This was a coin toss as to where I would land on the shell and sometimes I would go into the unnecessary spike ceiling. So I just prayed I got the good RNG and only one nai on the final pipe.
There will probably be a few more videos of easier levels but they are running out. We are getting a lot of help from a lot of different people, and its AWESOME!")

Another one from Old Man... Conan. Hardest part was just getting the first pipe RNG. The timing is somewhat lenient for the flutter and ending it (letting go of jump) to land on the next spring. You can see me losing and gaining height by changing the timing slightly. Shoutout to TheRileyC for the spring tongue grab strat after I got that unfortunate nai.
