This level makes me mald. It's so easy to accidentally cut too much of a turn or coin grab off and restart. It's a test of both skill and patience.

To get a run of this level takes me 2.5 hours. The 56.48 time I had before this had an encoding overload in a section and I didn't want that.

This run had a very sloppy intro that had no business even working. This run is carried by almost everything else being clean until the ending.

Here's a couple of strat breakdowns:

For the spin canceled long jump to get yoshi asap, run holding up and then at camera change change control stick to slight up left and perform it around the same time. A lot of runs actually die here because the cues are too general.

The section right after the first bulb berry I like to call "steps" even tho it's one step. For steps, you really want tight lines and to barely be grabbing coins. Aka the opposite of what this abomination of a run does.

Everything up to what I like to call "stairs 1" is standard. Stairs 1 is where a new strat comes in. When approaching, I jump at around the 3rd to last coin before them and then land and run a tiny bit up left to change my angle. I then double jump and upon landing I do a new tech I found called "crouch braking." When you crouch quickly, you don't lose all of your running speed. This allows you to easily avoid doing a loop on this section. This section is also technically possible to full speed, but it is incredibly hard.

After the momentum flutter, I found a better coin route that sets up a full speed for "stairs 2." Because of this, I have to turn the camera back much earlier. This method is almost fast enough to have no camera turn at all, but it is slightly too slow. If some slight improvements are found, no camera turn could be possible.

Full speed stairs 2 is quite hard. You want to jump before the purple coin then land and double jump. Usually I do a little u-turn upon landing, but yoshi refused and somehow I got full speed anyway. Definitely not the best way, but it worked.

The way the cycle at the end works is that you basically can't unload it via a camera turn once loaded. You have to instead prevent it from loading to delay it. That's why how fast you do the ending matters a ton and many runs could just die from you turning the camera early/late based on how well you did the ending movement.

Final thoughts:

A 55 is "easily" possible. A 54 is likely in this level's future as well. 53 would be tough and may require slight extra refinement in movement and strategies
