This method is much more consistent and much easier for people who are having trouble doing the original method. As Mario, once you have 50 stars, go through the 50 star door to enter the room with the Tick Tock Clock painting. Jump up onto the left platform that is next to the Rainbow Ride entrance. Now, charge up a dash by holding Y, and then do a triple jump. Charging Y allows you to get more height from the triple jump. After triple jumping, wall jump off of the green wall that sticks out so you can clear the wall and land out of bounds. Get down from the platform and carefully do a slide kick into the void. You must slide kick slowly so you do not get stuck in the air forever. Once you warp, make your way to the top of the endless stairs by navigating through the map on the bottom screen. If all is done correctly, you will skip having to get 80 stars to get up the endless stairs.
