Hey everyone, today I’m going to replace the side view mirror on a 2005 Honda Accord Sedan.

Difficulty: Easy
Estimated time: 5 Minutes

Tools necessary:
- 8mm wrench

Steps.

1. Remove the interior trim that prevents access to the side view mirror assembly and unplug the side view mirror wiring harness.
2. Carefully use an 8mm wrench to remove the 3 nuts holding the side view mirror to the door.
3. Pinch the two tabs on the sides of the wiring socket to release the side view mirror from the door. Pop the new side view mirror in place so that the tabs hold it in place.
4. Carefully use an 8mm wrench to install the 3 nuts holding the side view mirror to the door.
5. Reinstall the side view mirror wiring harness and re-install the interior trim.
6. Enjoy your new side view mirror.
