We finally checked out Dix, the new all-vegan spot that’s taken over the old Meet in Gastown space—and honestly, we’re just thrilled this iconic location is still 100% vegan 💚🙌
Dix is open evenings only, Wednesday through Sunday, and the vibe is different from what this space used to be. Think small plates, creative cocktails, and a late-night, party-adjacent energy 🎶🍸 It feels like a lounge making it a fun stop for hanging out with friends or kicking off a night in Gastown.
One of the biggest draws? Everything on the menu is $10 👀💸 In this economy?! That alone had us sold. The menu is clearly designed for sharing, so it’s easy to try a few dishes without over-committing.
For food, we shared the swap chicken strips, chicken quesadilla, and the skillet burger 🍗🌮🍔—classic comfort food, fully vegan. We also tried one of their pickle-infused drinks 🥒🍸 which was definitely unexpected and very on-brand for Dix’s playful, chaotic-fun menu.
There’s still a lot we want to try, and we’ll definitely be back to see what else is worth grabbing for $10. Overall, we love seeing a vegan space continue to exist in Gastown and evolve into something new—and Dix adds a fun, affordable option to Vancouver’s vegan scene 🌱✨
