The 5th part of my DevLog series creating a first person shooter in Unity. In this video we implement destructible barrels, ammo, headshots and location damage. This is the start of one of the core game mechanics - ammo management, find ammo in the barrels conserve ammo with careful aim. Click 'Read More' to see an index to the video.
I go fast in these videos, leave a comment if there is an aspect you want a full tutorial on (no promises, but if you don't ask you won't get).
This video series is creating an FPS as fast as possible using assets from the asset store (list of assets here bit.ly/ZombieSewerAssets). In the earlier videos we made a fully playable prototype level in less than 3 hours. The last couple of videos have focused on making the prototype a proper game. If you haven't seen the earlier videos then you might want to view the playlist first https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list...
