This video shows how cardboard molds are useful to accomplish a car seat cover in leather. Same procedures are taught in our basic courses at cechaflo.com
The first step consists in drawing the required design on seat foam base. Same design is then transferred to cardboard material in situ.
After having the molds, ready, they are transferred to leather material adding the required seam allowance.
As we can see, it is not necessary to be guessing how to do a cover. The making of molds is the guideline to perform different kind of car seat covers.
