As I want to thoroughly re-upholster a car door panel it will be necessary to remove several pieces fastened to the entire plastic frame wiht plastic pins wich were 'welded/melted' to main plastic frame.
A faster way would be to cut all the rivet heads off with a sharpened knife, and after finishing the pieces they could be reattached by using little screws with respective thin washer (I also will use this method). Please, watch tip 2 in next short video.
The other way I am showing in this short video is melt the formed plastic rivet by using an 'electric soldering iron' (tin soldering tool).
As you can see, I am trying to pile up in cone the melted plastic rivet.
After all the pieces are recovered in leather, including the armrest they could be refastened to main frame melting the small plastic pins again.
