It's been a while since I've edited a kingdom hearts only video, and a simpler one too. This video doesn't have a lot going for it in the way of effects, which is fine since I wasn't aiming for that. ^^ From the beginning I just wanted this video to match the song with all its craziness and excitement! But I didn't have a real reason for choosing this song... I think I was caught between using Daughter, Mumford and Sons, or Florence (all bands Piff likes) and this song was something I felt like using xD It's weird, I never thought I would use this song for a video. It's not an easy song to edit to... For one, you can't go along with the lyrics at all because the song has a pretty crazy story that nothing can really go with, least of all KH -- and since lyrical editing is the main thing I do, it was a little tricky xD And it took me WAY too long to finish something this small. I blame it on letter Z, but still...I'm slow. T—T
The day before yesterday this video looked pretty sad ^^; It was so raw and there wasn't a lot to it... I wasn't all that happy with it. And then last night I spent a few hours adding effects, and boy, never underestimate the power of a few colorings. o_o The video became awesome thanks to those colors!! So now I have something presentable to give to my friend. ^^ It's only right since this is so late!
But I gotta say, I wasn't expecting to be so happy with this video xD Even with the colorings I thought it would be boring -- but when I watched the finished project I got so excited because it looked great!
I hope this video brings a little excitement to everyone's day~

But well, I hope you like it. :D I hope you like my song choice too(I figured I'd be safe with Florence since you seem to like my Florence videos xD) And I realized after finishing this that while doing the colors I might have had the way you do your effects in mind. There were some colorings that are a little like the ones you do... I think this video got me in a gradient map phase again xD
ANYWAY ENOUGH WITH THAT! So I suppose I'm supposed to put some touching, sentimental paragraph here eh? Well, all that needs to be said is you're awesome Piff ; D. This is probably the last birthday video I'm ever going to make! I just want to say that now, because when any of your birthdays come around I don't want you to think I've forgotten you :( I haven't. I just don't have time for birthday videos anymore... I always seem to have a birthday video ya know? ^^; And I'm such a slow editor that they take me forever (like this one!) So I love you guys, but this is it for me and birthdays! D; So the only birthday videos from here on out will be the ones I make for my best friend in real life, who I always make vids for cuz she's my #1 supporter and I'm too cheap to actually buy her much ;D
(I want to quickly say sorry to Dazzy, Thalia, and Miri who I wanted to make a joined birthday video for like last year, but I couldn't because I didn't have the time. D; )

I can't be depressing on Piff's birthday video, even if it's months late! xD So here's something happy: I'll be announcing this somewhere later too -- I'm not going to be moving channels after all! Fruits Basket Spoilers, volumes 1-17.
Furuba, Furuba... Its one of the best mangas in the world. Definitely. And I need to edit with it more! Ive only made one FB MMV before and it was only about one character. This feels like my first real FB video.
I still havent finished the manga. I only have three more volumes to collect and then Ill be done! And Im betting that when I finish it Im gonna want to edit something, so Ive been trying to find a good song to use. I havent found one yet, so if anyone has any good ideas on emotional songs, please suggest some!
Im also trying to find a song for an mmv I want to make right now. I need a song for a Momiji and Tohru video, and even if you dont know who those characters are please suggest any songs that are either lighthearted or emotional (or both). Lol I usually dont rant about song troubles so much xD I can usually find songs without so much trouble...
ANYWAY
About THIS video. The focus of this video is how Tohru saves each character in a different way, and then sometimes she needs to be saved too. Thats really one of the huge themes of the manga, so I wanted to portray it in this video. I also wanted the MMV to look bright so I used even more white than usual. At first I wasnt sure if the song would be right, but I wanted to edit it anyway. Now I think it fits pretty well! ^^ So Tohru is the song that saved their lives. :D
Its too bad I didnt get to include all the characters. Ayame, Ritsu, Kureno, Haru, and Akito (and I could be forgetting someone o-o) arent in there much (or at all) because they dont have many (or any) moments with Tohru. I really wanted to put Haru in there but he doesnt have the same relationship with Tohru that the others do xD So he didnt fit. (And I could be wrong about Akito and Tohru, but I dont know yet!! I havent read the last four volumes of the magna! Jfda;jf) I think Im getting better at MMVs. I hope I am. : )
I know this manga is getting older... I hope this gets a few views though T.T And please no one spoil anything.

My first dedication to Jinta and Menma. I hope its not my last.
I really love this pairing ; ; Theyre tear-inducing. And so sweet and so meant to be! I really dont care about Jinta and Anaru. Im not against them, and I like that theyre sorta going to end up together... but come on, the real one he was supposed to be with was Menma T T Stupid parents letting your children play by a river!
Anyway, so I wish there were more Jinta/Menma videos... Its weird, but theyre not that many. Theres mostly just AnoHana-in-general videos and then a weird amount of Jinta/Anaru and Anaru/Yukiatsu. For some reason people like to edit with Anaru I guess o.O So I hereby make my contribution to the Jinta/menma collection! I know it isnt much... thats why I really hope I can make another someday. A better one. I have some really good (anoha—this anime) video ideas in my head, but unfortunately they have to compete with allll the others. Bleh why cant editing a video take three hours?

This video was more of a random edit :D If I remember right, I just felt like editing to Jinta and Menma...and this song was the one I felt like editing to most. Its not one of my favorite songs, I was just in the mood for it ^^; Actually, it was a while after starting this video that I began to like the original version by Taylor Swift a lot more than this cover... and then I was sad I didnt use the original. Cuz now, I cant really use the original ever can I? xD
Im sorry the editing isnt very good in this... I think I was trying something new and it didnt work out. But I was lazy and didnt want to go change a third of the video. I know theres too many zooms. I know it gets tiring to look out. Ill try not to do it again. T///T It really was a random edit (sorta) because I didnt stress over making it perfect like I usually do. Although it did take a while to complete... because I was sidetracked with so many other videos :P Oh yeah, it took me too long to get around to uploading this! Because of the copyright... and Im still very nervous about it. So please dont mention the name in the comments... you can call it that sad anime with menma. (otherwise Ill have to reupload!
