This anime touches on deeper issues than most and it did such a good job with it. What drew me at first was the use of a deaf character, something I have never seen an anime do before. Before I watched the movie I looked up reviews to see what people thought of her portrayal. After all, anime has a tendency to over dramatize things and do away with any realism. I was half expecting Shoko to never sign and just smile at people. But when I learned that she was done realistically, I was excited to watch the movie and see for myself.
I didn’t expect a movie on suicide and depression! That aspect of the movie totally blew me away. I mean, this is anime we’re talking about. Even in the more realistic dramas, mental health and disabilities are shoved under the rug or portrayed in a way that doesn’t reflect reality whatsoever. It’s rare to find an anime that tackles even one important issue. (They’re usually too busy with cultural festivals and the supernatural.) But to find an anime that tackles not one but three!? WOW.
I was fascinated to get a glimpse at Shoko’s experience (and it’s probably not completely accurate but as this is a well-done, well-researched story, I’m going to assume it’s not far from a deaf person’s experience in Japan). Growing up in the American school system, I was shocked that Shoko not only didn’t have an interpreter, but that her teacher didn’t seem to care about her disability. (Again, could be dramatized, but I’m also going to assume it carries a grain of truth.)
Then there’s Shoya. Shoya’s part was actually the best in my opinion. The way they dealt with his social anxiety, his depression, his desire for human contact as well as his fear of it, resulting in his near-suicide. Amazing. I’ve seen enough anime to know you don’t find a story like this every day. It’s one of the most well done stories on mental illness I’ve ever seen in an anime.
Honestly, A Silent Voice represents my favorite side of anime – that it isn’t all swords and fights and supernatural elements. Anime can be just as much about real life. This story reminds you to really listen to people, to remember that everyone is hurting in some way. I think everyone should watch it.

This story is like the one you know, but not entirely the same...
Summary: Leo Fitz and Jemma Simmons are scientists, best friends, and agents of the intelligence organization S.H.I.E.L.D. The two friends are so inseparable theyre known as FitzSimmons.
When FitzSimmons are recruited for one of S.H.I.E.L.D.s new teams they are thrust into a world of adventure they werent prepared for. A lot of change is coming their way and the arrival of Agent Triplett, a new team member with an interest in Simmons, causes Fitz to think differently about his closest relationship. Will he have the courage to talk to Simmons? And will Simmons return his feelings or wish for things to remain the same?

So I got this idea one day two months ago to make a movie cover for a fake FitzSimmons movie. It was just going to be a picture edit to post on tumblr. Then I thought: why stop there? I got inspired to make a video and I think its turned out successful! I worked on it for a month off and on and had such a fun time. I feel like this is the biggest project Ive done in a while.
The main work was finding the right scenes to use and then using them together to create a story. I hope it turned out okay and I hope its easy to follow. The audio editing was also a PAIN. I wanted to make them have a conversation that never happens and so I would remember bits of audio to use but the audio would never be worded right. Like, I wanted to use the part where he says if you did I dont know what I would do [ep 20 pool scene] but I couldnt find a way to put it in context correctly. But thanks to all the audio tampering I did, I learned things about audio editing. So those are just some of the things I went through during this project.
This video might seem a bit random, but hey Im a S.H.I.E.L.D. fan. And it was fun. And have I mentioned Im a crazy FitzSimmons fangirl?
I wouldve uploaded it a week sooner but some great people on Tumblr created a FitzSimmons week and gave me the perfect opportunity to upload it! Btw FitzSimmons week is from July 13 19. Its been very fun so far! And the theme for today is actually nightmare. Well if you watch my video and think youve just had a nightmare, I think Ive done something wrong...

A little bit ago, I found out Dengeki Daisy was going to end in October. I was very sad ( and Im still really sad) and so I made this. Even though it looks like a tribute to Soichiro, I thought of it as a tribute to the series while making it.
Dengeki Daisy is one of my favorite mangas EVER next to Vampire Knight. It is a beautiful and very exciting story about Teru, an orphan who recently lost her only brother and Daisy, her mysterious protector who she can only contact through the cellphone her brother left her. Shes never met Daisy and doesnt know what he looks like. Recently Kurosaki, her schools custodian has forced Teru to work for him (because hes evil). But Kurosaki seems to care about Teru more than she realizes, and hes always around when shes in trouble...
This manga has a story that looks simple at first but actually becomes very serious with realistic, developing characters and epic romance. What first looks like a teenage story of love turns out to be the story of a hacker with a dark past and the one person who can save him from his guilt (plus danger and conspiracies!) It becomes an intense story with a lot of conflict facing the main characters, and without it being over-the-top. Is it obvious that Im advertising? I am. I know a lot of people have read it, but I dont think enough have... Go read it if youre in search of a new manga.
- btw this video is actually a poor representation of the story xD If youve read the manga, youll get this video! If not... youll think this manga is about a girls brother dying and the rest of the story is her getting over it. NO. Not what its about. Thats part of it but there is waaaaay more stuff going on... and thats a good thing ; ) So dont worry, this isnt a depressive manga xD (but its still a serious and emotional manga...)

This might be the most well-made MMV Ive done yet :D I dont think its my best MMV necessarily, but in this video I actually put some time into the effects. I wanted to give it a graceful style ^^ I was inspired by the many videos Ive seen lately where that lovely text effect is used the one where the text moves with the screen. Eh, maybe its not new...but I feel like Ive seen it around lately. I really love it and once I realized its actually not that hard to do... I had to add it in this video.

After watching that very beautiful video, Ive wanted to put in text that isnt song lyrics. I did that in this video and also in my recent Axel/Xion video. In fact...forget my earlier statement. All my inspiration for this video came from that Attack on Titan MEP xD It is one of the most beautiful videos Ive ever seen!
Im seriously upset that Dengeki Daisy is about to end. T T I dont know what Im going to do once it ends in America...o o Ill also be very mad if Kurosaki doesnt AT LEAST propose to Teru before the end of the series. Seriously. Theyre already there, he just needs to pull out a ring already!! (If Maid-Sama can do it Daisy certainly can xD)
If I had to dedicate this video to someone it would be Ms. Kyousuke Motomi. She is such an amazing mangaka because she can create such a well-written story and such true characters that arent always throwing themselves at each other. I love that this manga is for older teens but stays totally clean. Its such an honorable story and the lessons the characters learn are deep and so realistic. Shes so great :) And Ill be eager to read what she does next.

Please Read the Story.
Story:
This story is a reverse of what the actual story is in Kingdom Hearts. Instead of Roxas going to wake Sora up it is Sora going to wake Roxas up. Sora is Roxass nobody who was given life after Roxas was put to sleep (just like Sora was put to sleep at the end of Chain of Memories.) The difference is Sora still went through many adventures and made close friends with Riku and Kairi. Although Sora was the nobody, he seemed more complete than Roxas the real self.
Sora learned about Roxas, his true self who was asleep and went to Namine in secret (because Riku and Kairi would try to stop him if they knew about it). Sora didnt want to live at the cost of Roxass life, and when he spoke to Namine about this she told him the only way to save Roxas was for Sora to become one with Roxas and go to sleep in Roxass mind. The choices she gives him are: Continue to live with your friends or go to sleep so Roxas can live. Sora decides he cant be happy if his existence means Roxas cant wake up. He merges with Roxass mind and during this time Soras memories flow into Roxas; Sora disappears inside Roxas where no one can find him.
This video is about everything that happens to Roxas after this.
Riku and Kairi find him when he wakes up and are shocked to find that their friend is gone. For Kairi it is an even bigger shock since she and Sora were in love.
Upon waking, Roxas realizes he has feelings for Kairi, but he doesnt understand them. He doesnt know if they are his feelings or Soras feelings left behind in his memories. Roxas is left with this confusion and cant help but want to be with Kairi. At the same time, Kairi avoids Roxas since seeing him only reminds her that Sora is gone.
Clarifying some scenes:
- Kairi dreams of Sora, and cries when she wakes up. Riku consoles her and the two of them start to become closer. Roxas sees them together and runs away.
- Even though Kairi and Riku are starting to have a relationship Kairi is still in love with Sora and no one else. She writes a letter to Sora so she can get her feelings out.
Parts of the letter which are seen in the video:

Im dying without you Sora.
I wish you would come and save me from this place.
- Roxas finds her letter. Once he sees how much pain Kairi is going through he knows he cant keep living the way he is. Roxas cant bear to see Kairi like this and so he decides to give up his life and find Sora no matter what.
- Before this he confesses his love to Kairi, because its the last thing he wants to do before he goes.
- Roxas is able to find Sora inside his mind and lets himself disappear so Sora can come back. The last thing he says to Sora is Thank You, because Soras sacrifice gave him the chance to meet Kairi.

This is the second-to-last video for The ABC Project!!! This video got off to a VERY slow start, but it eventually picked up! I was so worried at first that this video would be horrible, but I actually love how it turned out. Its long... So I understand if no one wants to sit through it. ^^; I hope you do though. And I hope the story is clear and everything. I ended up using a lot of masking in this! Yay for me! And I used audio too, which is always fun~

This year I really wanted to make a present for all my close friends, because I love you all so much! But I knew that wouldnt be happening. ^^; I decided not to even try. I would never finish in time... And so, I decided to make one big video as a present to everyone! And I really do mean everyone... And since most of my subs like my KH and FF vidoes I decided to make a KH/FF only video with no anime, which I havent done in a little while (and the collab with my friend doesnt count xD) Well, I hope everyone likes it~
I always seem to make unusual videos for Christmas... I never use Christmas songs xD Because Ive never found a Christmas song that I think would be fun to edit to. So once again, this video isnt Christmas-y at all lol. Some of my older subs may remember my Christmas video from last year, which was even crazier than this one! I just wanted to put all my love into this video since its serving as one big present ;3 May everyone smile and enjoy it!
About Editting it...
It took me about a month. This Christmas video is one of two videos Ive been focusing on this month, and it took me longer than youd think. (Ah Im so slow...)
I TRIED to put more effects into it. I think the whole thing turned out pretty cute ^^ And instead of using a million pairings I decided to just focus on a few. Surprised to see Hayner x Olette in there? XD Ever since I saw this video:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w55B3yoC-o8 Ive just loved them and have been using them a bit~ Plus I didnt really want to use Kairi or Sora twice which is easy to do ^^;

Which I thought was an ok MMV and thought the song was kind of cute, but never really thought about it. For some reason the song just stayed in my head, and when I was trying to think of a song to use on a big Christmas present I realized it would be perfect. And it was a lot more fun to edit to than I thought it would be X3 I really do like how this video turned out. It is a success!
Btw YAY YAY YAY. This year I did not have to stay up until 5:00 on Christmas Eve Eve trying to get my stupid Christmas video done! Thats what happened last year, and I have never forgotten it. It was my worst editing experience EVER XD
