A little bit ago, I found out Dengeki Daisy was going to end in October. I was very sad ( and I'm still really sad) and so I made this. Even though it looks like a tribute to Soichiro, I thought of it as a tribute to the series while making it.

Dengeki Daisy is one of my favorite mangas EVER next to Vampire Knight. It is a beautiful and very exciting story about Teru, an orphan who recently lost her only brother and Daisy, her mysterious protector who she can only contact through the cellphone her brother left her. She's never met Daisy and doesn't know what he looks like. Recently Kurosaki, her school's custodian has forced Teru to work for him (because he's evil). But Kurosaki seems to care about Teru more than she realizes, and he's always around when she's in trouble...
This manga has a story that looks simple at first but actually becomes very serious with realistic, developing characters and epic romance. What first looks like a teenage story of love turns out to be the story of a hacker with a dark past and the one person who can save him from his guilt (plus danger and conspiracies!) It becomes an intense story with a lot of conflict facing the main characters, and without it being over-the-top. Is it obvious that I'm advertising? I am. I know a lot of people have read it, but I don't think enough have... Go read it if you're in search of a new manga.
- btw this video is actually a poor representation of the story xD If you've read the manga, you'll get this video! If not... you'll think this manga is about a girl's brother dying and the rest of the story is her getting over it. NO. Not what it's about. That's part of it but there is waaaaay more stuff going on... and that's a good thing ; ) So don't worry, this isn't a depressive manga xD (but it's still a serious and emotional manga...)

This might be the most well-made MMV I've done yet :D I don't think it's my best MMV necessarily, but in this video I actually put some time into the effects. I wanted to give it a graceful style ^^ I was inspired by the many videos I've seen lately where that lovely text effect is used -- the one where the text moves with the screen. Eh, maybe it's not new...but I feel like I've seen it around lately. I really love it and once I realized it's actually not that hard to do... I had to add it in this video.

After watching that very beautiful video, I've wanted to put in text that isn't song lyrics. I did that in this video and also in my recent Axel/Xion video. In fact...forget my earlier statement. All my inspiration for this video came from that Attack on Titan MEP xD It is one of the most beautiful videos I've ever seen!

I'm seriously upset that Dengeki Daisy is about to end. T__T I don't know what I'm going to do once it ends in America...o___o I'll also be very mad if Kurosaki doesn't AT LEAST propose to Teru before the end of the series. Seriously. They're already there, he just needs to pull out a ring already!! (If Maid-Sama can do it Daisy certainly can xD)

If I had to dedicate this video to someone it would be Ms. Kyousuke Motomi. She is such an amazing mangaka because she can create such a well-written story and such true characters that aren't always throwing themselves at each other. I love that this manga is for older teens but stays totally clean. It's such an honorable story and the lessons the characters learn are deep and so realistic. She's so great :') And I'll be eager to read what she does next.
I hope you enjoy the video even though it's about Soichiro and that tends to make people cry T---T
