My first few days at Elmia in Sweden for the Nordic Trophy were absolutely incredible!
I spent a lot of time walking around the event checking out some of the trucks, equipment, and futuristic technology that’s currently available here in Europe. Coming from the USA, it’s mind blowing to see how different so much of the trucking industry is over here. I found myself constantly comparing what I was seeing to what we have available back home in America.
One of the coolest things I got to check out was an absolutely insane four-door Scania built specifically for tank hauling. I’ve never seen anything quite like it, and getting the chance to look around it and see how everything was built was definitely a highlight.
I also got to catch up with a lot of friends who live here in Sweden, check out their trucks, and spend some time enjoying the show with people I don’t get to see very often.
At the end of the day, it was finally time to pull my blue Scania into the Nordic Trophy area, get it parked up with some of the best show trucks in Europe, and start cleaning it up and getting everything ready for the show.
This trip has given me a completely different look at the European trucking world, and there’s still a lot more to come!
Thanks for watching!
