We wrapped up our time in Las Vegas at the CONEXPO construction expo, and before heading home I got the chance to do something really cool — operate a Huddig machine by remote control.
This thing is incredible. Using the remote, we were able to drive the machine, reach into a cooler, grab a beer bottle, open it, and serve it… all without sitting in the cab. It was one of the most impressive demonstrations of precision equipment control I’ve ever seen.
But the adventure didn’t stop there.
Before leaving Vegas, we loaded up a Huddig City machine on the trailer behind our Scania truck and started the long journey back home to Tennessee. There’s something pretty special about hauling a Swedish-built machine behind a Swedish-built truck across thousands of miles of American highways.
This trip has been an amazing experience — from seeing all the incredible equipment at CONEXPO, meeting people from all over the industry, and now making the road trip back across the country with some very unique iron on the trailer.
Las Vegas to Tennessee… let’s get rolling.
Thanks for riding along with us
