On our way to pick up a trailer, we made a stop at a truck stop and ended up having one of those moments you can’t plan.

We were driving our Scania when we ran into a fellow truck driver and decided to make him a cup of coffee — not just any coffee, but Swedish coffee made from beans I brought all the way from Sweden to the U.S.

What started as a simple conversation turned into a real-world comparison between European and American trucking culture, trucks, and the little details that make the Scania different. Seeing a trucker’s reaction to coffee made straight from the truck made this stop one we won’t forget.

This is what trucking is really about — meeting people on the road, sharing stories, and sometimes sharing a cup of coffee.
