Today we headed up to Ag Revolution in Columbia, Kentucky and met up with our buddy Alex to buy a fire damaged Massey Ferguson cab tractor with loader and 4WD. The damage was caused from a bird nest fire underneath the hood, but we think this tractor deserves a second chance.
After that, we hit the road with the Peterbilt “Brutus” and headed to another farm where we bought a second project tractor — a Case 110A loader tractor with even more severe fire damage under the hood.
Neither project was exactly easy to load, especially the second tractor since it was a complete non-runner. We had to use the farmer’s tractor just to drag and winch it onto the trailer.
The whole goal with these projects is to start focusing more on tractors, equipment, and machinery that actually ties into our real business and can eventually be repaired, sold, and turned into profit instead of random unrelated projects.
