The trio features composer Dean Josiah and songwriter vocalist Melisa Young. As a producer and lyricist Josian a.k.a. Inflo has worked with Jungle, The Kooks, Michael Kiwanuka, Belle and Sebastian, and several other well-known artists. Young, also known as Kid Sis is a Chicago-based rapper best known for her electro-pop popularized with her 2009 debut album Ultraviolet which was followed up by her Kiss & Tell EP (both worthy listens!).
“Don’t waste my time” is SAULT’s second single and they seem to be building momentum. But to what Beyond Josiah and Young, the band’s identity, social media presence, and next move remain shrouded in mystery. All I can say for certain is that they are on the right track.
