1979-1980 Sansui G-7700, 120WPC. It’s truly an analog tuner inside with a circuit showing a digital representation of the station tuned.
Re-biased this tonight and it sounds great. Like a lot of newer receivers with less hours in my collection, the unit was running hotter than spec so I adjusted things down to factory settings.
What I find interesting is that there are two models higher than this, the G-8700 and G-9700. If my G-7700 is 120WPC, then the others are much higher and this really is the end of the line for consumer grade high watt units.
