In 1961, the Dominator, a WWII era Liberty Ship, came too close to the California coast near Los Angeles and became stuck on the rocks. For several days they tried to free the ship and save it, but it was not to be. The waves were too much and the Dominator was broken apart.

Now over 60 years later parts of the Dominator are spread out over the rocky shore of Rancho Palos Verdes, under a high cliff.

In this video we head to the bottom of the cliff, traverse the rocky shore, and explore the site of the shipwreck of the Dominator.
