Highway 395 through California's remote northeast corner is seldom covered in any guidebooks. This stretch of the highway goes through some of the least populated areas on the state, starting on the edge of the Eastern Sierra before heading across the Modoc Plateau.

Along the way, the Highway travels through a number of towns, rich with history dating back to the state's pioneer days.

In this video we travel the entire length of US Route 395 in Northern California, from the Nevada state line to the Oregon state line at Goose Lake, exploring everything in between.
