Along the San Joaquin river, around the town of Friant, are a couple of places that are "lost" for completely different reasons. Lost Lake and the town of Millerton.

Lost Lake is a park, centered around a man-made lake that was created during the construction of the Friant Dam in the 1930s. The area was long the home of the Yokuts, and is now the site of a number of spooky legends.

Just upstream are the remains of the Pollasky Bridge, once one of the longest concrete wagon bridges in North America, and washed away by a flood in 1951.

Then, behind the Friant Dam lies Millerton Lake, which sits on top of the town of Millerton, once the county seat for Fresno County.

In this video we explore the Lost Lake area, Pollasky Bridge, and look for any signs of Millerton.
