Our actual plan for this parkrunday was to run at Queen Elizabeth's Grammar School parkrun so that Poppy could complete her parkrun alphabet. However the freezing, icy weather meant that it was cancelled. I spotted that Market Rasen were holding their Christmas event, and none of our group had visited before so we headed here. It was such a great decision, this was such an amazing event!
A pretty fast, 2.5 lapper with a really special feel to it! Something about this parkrun gives it a unique 'event' feel on top of the usual wonderful parkrun feel that all events have.
Huge thanks to the fantastic team at this event for a brilliant run. Kudos to the team for dealing with their token drama in a professional and fast way. The team had buckets of Christmas spirit, a fantastic community feel and they couldn't have been more welcoming. If you haven't been here before then I highly recommend a visit!
