Whilst away on a half term family break, my sister (Carla) and I went to check out Boston parkrun. We were lucky enough to visit on their 8th birthday which also coincided with Halloween! Two things to celebrate - I absolutely love a fancy dress run.

The team at Boston couldn't have been any more welcoming. It was a fantastic run around Witham Way Country Park and the course is great! The way the course is designed with a small lap and then two bigger laps means it goes by very quickly! A thoroughly enjoyable 5 km run, definitely worth a visit.

Huge thanks to the team for a fantastic morning. This parkrun has everything you could need... Apart from toilets, so make sure you go before you arrive! Otherwise there is plentiful parking, a gorgeous route, an extremely welcoming team and plenty of parkfaffing afterwards. Make sure you sign the visitors book if you're a visiting tourist... Unless you don't have a good run, in which case you can keep quiet, and go home! I'm still laughing at that part of the run briefing now!
