We weren't going to go to the Nordics extra day parkrun this year as it is a super busy time of year for us. Fortunately FOMO got too much and I found myself booking our flights about a month before it! I say that but realistically it was my lovely friend Nick who booked everything for us as he was undecided about whether to go too. We encouraged each other and before we knew it we were going. It was such a great decision as this was such a brilliant trip!

Tokoinranta parkrun is just North of Helsinki and is a beautiful city parkrun with so much to see. The bridge up and over the train line is a great contrast to the two beautiful bays you run next to. Running by Finlandia House and the fantastic little water wheel were definitely highlights! I'd definitely recommend this parkrun and would also suggest the ferry to Stockholm too as we absolutely loved it... But more of that in the next video!

Huge thanks to Oscar and his team for being so welcoming and making our Ascension Day parkrun so wonderful. They had to cut up the extra paper tokens while we ran! Absolute superstars!
