For Creed III, new composer Joseph Shirley created a new theme that acted as the theme for Adonis and the film as a whole. Proceeded by a 2 note motif that's played on soft, acoustic guitar, it builds into a fanfare reminiscent of the Rocky and Creed themes from films prior. It's a theme that fits the musical style of the prior films and fits Adonis, but also represents the more personal fight against Dame and his past with the softer, more reflective melodies. It's triumphant and motivating with it's grander variations, such as the gloriously epic training montage track, yet still retains the heart that is so crucial to Adonis' journey.
