The castle, documented in 1385 as the property of Guglielmo Landi, has 14th-century origins. It remained with the Landi family until the 15th century, then passed to various families. In 1746, it was used as a prison by Austrian soldiers. The complex has a trapezoidal plan and three irregularly distributed towers, two of which are round and one is square. Between the 16th and 17th centuries, the Ardizzoni-Calvi family transformed the eastern body from a fortress into a residential palace, intervening in the internal courtyard.
