Sasso Gordona is a mountain in the Lugano Prealps on the border between Italy and Switzerland, although mostly in Italian territory where the 1,410 m high peak is located, located in the municipality of Schignano d'Intelvi. The mountain, whose summit offers a varied and interesting panorama, is a popular destination for hiking enthusiasts. At about 1,200 m is the Rifugio Prabello, a former barracks of the Guardia di Finanza.
