My first clear of this new chapter of R-Type series from Granzella inc.
(mostly ex Irem employees) and a direct sequel of R-Type Final on PS2.
Played at max difficulty (rtyper3) the game is a good challenge although
I think the previous chapter is harder.
Like in Final 1 there are a lot of ship to unlock (same roster)
and to chose from, this time is possible to personalize every ship with color, sticker and various graphic, unfortunately half of the ship cannot be unlocked in the main game but will be part of future dlcs (already announced) along of more stages.
In this run i use Leo 2 , a very powerfull and well balanced ship,
useful to rush nasty bosses like those of stage 5 and 6,
i followed the route for good ending (stage 6.0 and 7.0).
At the moment the game feel somehow incomplete,
i will do more run when more dlc are available.
