RtCW Walkthrough/Playthrough by me (was known in RtCW as !PT!Olurum or pt.olurum.fps)
This is played on 'I am Death Incarnate!' difficulty (hardest).

I've decided to record this in a manner of how I usually play games... fast and to the point (as opposed to my doom 3 videos where I tried to capture the atmosphere).
With that said, this is NOT a speed run. I'll slow down and make detours to record any funny scene and dialogue that I may come across in the game.
I'm playing with quite a custom config that removes all sorts of things like bobpitch and bobroll. This is just a personal preference of mine after spending years and years with this sort of config in online clan matches.
I have cranked up the graphics to max though and retained blood, muzzleflash and so on. All that stuff would usually be off in clan matches to increase visibility and remove any unecessary distractions. :P
What I can't do though is take it slowly in this game. I've spent so many years playing clan matches where speed is of importance... and now, the speed is the thing that makes this game fun for me. :D Most newer games seem to make your character waddle along so slowly. ^^
Special shoutout to everyone who may remember me and clan PT (Perfect Target)!

![Metro 2033 - Ranger Hardcore Walkthrough Part 5 - Dry + Ghosts
The sneaking on this level is pretty easy since you can skip a huge amount by using the pathway inbetween all the crates. I actually died due to my throwing knife bouncing off the bandits armour... aiming for their sides where armour isnt present is a good option.
The bandit that just randomly falls over is actually killed by Khan from the shadows. Also, dont smoke the pipe next to the bandit unless you want your controls to be seriously confusing for about a minute or so. Right at the end I fail to kill the bandit silently, but you can just run like I did and make it to the cutscene.
The level afterwards is a cool but easy level with no real fighting there.
This is played on Ranger Hardcore difficulty. PLAYLIST: http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLEC59D2EC40935453
I edited the user.cfg with notepad in order to increase the FOV.
To do this you must edit the SICK_FOV value in the THREE user.cfg files located here:
C:Users[your username]AppDataLocal4A GamesMetro 2033
C:Program Files (x86)Steamsteamappscommonmetro 2033
C:Program Files (x86)Steamuserdata[random set of numbers]43110remote
Important: You need to keep the fullstop. I set it to SICK_FOV 65. Remember that Metro uses vertical FOV measurement rather than the common horizontal measure. A vertical FOV of 65 is a horizontal FOV of 90 on a 16:10 1920x1200 resolution. Setting it any higher might make some errors appear like seeing the end of your arms during reload animations or cutscene animations. You can try to see what you like best.
I just think the default FOV is ridiculous... and unfortunately, this is becoming way to common an issue for console ports nowadays. Metro 2033 - Ranger Hardcore Walkthrough Part 5 - Dry + Ghosts](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/C6QYJgOGLIs/mqdefault.jpg)
