A playthrough of F.E.A.R. Extraction Point in HD quality on Moderate Difficulty.
Playlist URL: youtube.com/playlist?p=PL48001EC430855E9D
I decided against calling it a 'walkthrough' as I've only ever played and completed it once before... I rarely get lost or waste time though. So it should be entertaining to watch.
It was also a whole new experience again as I had totally forgotten most of the scares and level designs. Therefore I will react to things and won't just ignore or run past them.

![Metro 2033 - Ranger Hardcore Walkthrough Part 8 - Depot + Defense + Child
The revolver is really very handy at Depot with its one-shot kills, you can also knife/bash some of the monsters hanging onto the cart. The level Defense is pretty much the same as most other defence levels, use your gun if you get swamped, otherwise try and let the other defenders do the killing.
Child is a pretty annoying level because your aim gets a huge delay (apparently from carrying Sasha on your back), be sure to listen out from where the lurkers are coming from in order to shoot them just as they emerge from the holes. Its very easy to get swamped and lose track of them, especially since non of the monster have collision boxes and will jump right through you... trying to move your aim in 180 turns several times will get you killed with the huge mouse delay.
It would be a good idea to pickup a scoped weapon somehwere in these levels if you dont already have one for the upcoming Outpost level in order to take out the snipers.
This is played on Ranger Hardcore difficulty. PLAYLIST: http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLEC59D2EC40935453
I edited the user.cfg with notepad in order to increase the FOV.
To do this you must edit the SICK_FOV value in the THREE user.cfg files located here:
C:Users[your username]AppDataLocal4A GamesMetro 2033
C:Program Files (x86)Steamsteamappscommonmetro 2033
C:Program Files (x86)Steamuserdata[random set of numbers]43110remote
Important: You need to keep the fullstop. I set it to SICK_FOV 65. Remember that Metro uses vertical FOV measurement rather than the common horizontal measure. A vertical FOV of 65 is a horizontal FOV of 90 on a 16:10 1920x1200 resolution. Setting it any higher might make some errors appear like seeing the end of your arms during reload animations or cutscene animations. You can try to see what you like best.
I just think the default FOV is ridiculous... and unfortunately, this is becoming way to common an issue for console ports nowadays. Metro 2033 - Ranger Hardcore Walkthrough Part 8 - Depot + Defense + Child](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/EX8U46loJQw/mqdefault.jpg)
