Ok, firstly an apology, I've been travelling with work for a month, hence the silence. But I'm back now.

And so, on to the amazing Rolleiflex SLX! Definitely worth the wait I'd say, this is a terrific camera that I will definitely be keeping in my collection for a while. Big thanks to Clarhett Coalfield for putting me on to this, really appreciate the tip, so glad I decided to grab this camera when it came on the market.
So here's the big thing - there are lots of reports of the electronics on these cameras being poor, or unreliable. I must have got crazy lucky, because this SLX is working like a dream, no problems, no issues, the batteries charge and hold their charge... it's just a really great camera.
I don't know how I managed to stumble on this one. I didn't know about half the problems that get reported then I bought this one, so all I can think is that I got lucky. Or that people are negative about this camera but it is in fact not anywhere near as bad as everyone says!
Either way, I really loved shooting with this camera. It's a great medium format SLR, up there with the best of the cameras that I own.
