Well, it's taken me a little while to get this video up, sorry about that. Had a long trip, then a much needed family holiday, and a whole ton of other things going on.
The Africa trip was amazing, but also punishing and non-stop. I barely got any time to take any photos, the poor Bronica barely got out of my bag. I carried it pretty much everywhere with me, but I literally had no time at all.
BUT... I got a few rolls shot, so all is ok. In this video you'll see a day-long road trip through the heart of Namibia. We were driving from Windhoek (the capital) south west to a place called Solitaire. Solitaire is a crazy little town in the middle of the desert, a stop off for lots of people on their road trips through Namibia. Something of an oasis in the desert. Amazing.
You'll notice from these photos that I really struggle with the colours. I think my chems were a little too old, I thought I'd chance it with the C41 chems about 6 weeks since mixing, and I think I got away with it just about. I don't know why I decided to chance it, stupid thing to do, I should have just mixed some more. Oh well, lesson learned.
You'll see from this video that the Zeiss Ikon Nettar that I was carrying didn't get a run out in Namibia, but have no fear, it makes an appearance in South Africa!
SA vid coming very soon now, it's all shot and everything is developed. Won't be long!
