Matthew replaced his traditional metal gate with a brand new Retract-A-Gate and loves it! He installed two Retract-A-Gates to keep his child safe - one for the top of stairs and one for the bottom of stairs. By using a few different stair adapters, he successfully connected his Retract-A-Gate to his banister post without drilling. On the half wall side, Matthew created a wooden spacer behind the top Mounting Bracket to push the bracket out from the wall so the gate could easily attach without any baseboard interference. Our New Wall Spacers could also be used.
