The Retract-A-Gate was very easy to install. It took them only ten minutes to put up. They purchased their gate and accessories from Smart Retract’s website (http://www.retractagate.com). They used the wall spacers to place behind the mounting brackets to account for the baseboards that run along the bottom of their wall. However, once the mounting brackets were installed, they just clipped the Retract-A-Gate in and it was ready to use. Once installed, it has very simple operation, blends into its surroundings well, and is out of the way when not needed..
