Anyone who has owned or worked with vintage Toshiba laptops will know there are two issues commonly associated with them: One is brittle plastics that break and chip easily from age; the other is corrosion from bad/leaking VARTA branded Ni-MH batteries used for the real-time clock and standby/resume capability. This video deals with the latter where a damaged motherboard is replaced with a good refurbished one.
