See, I normally stay pretty close to the original when making remixes, but this time I wanted to try something different AND IT SOUNDS SO BADASS I literally included the word "badass" in this video's tags! Let me know if you like my instrument choices since I changed pretty much everything (though the strings in the background still mirror most parts of the original)!

[APRIL FOOLS 2018]
Recently, a fellow remixer named Purple (https://www.youtube.com/user/Purple1222119), with Envys help (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCK1pMKtDayl1kxvfc8bZQSQ) discovered an all-new music track hidden deep inside the games ROM: MUS_SEQ_B_BATTLE.sseq! Envy later uploaded a video of this sequence played using the final Boss Battle Themes samples. The file is only present in the 1.0 versions of the US and japanese ROMs, it has been removed from all european releases.
The reason why nobody discovered it earlier is the crazy compression on this one: the sequence file was YAZ0 compressed, but also encrypted using a simple circular bitshift. But besides that, there was still a huge clump of binary data.
Today, I finally managed to decrypt it, which revealed that it was actually an extremely early version of the DS SoundFont format, with WAY LESS limitations. I eventually figured out how to convert it to a usable format and tried playing Purples SSEQ file with this new amazing SoundFont. In this video, I present the REAL way this early, unused battle theme should sound!
