Almost called this one "Space Invaders".
The melody lines played by the brass section was particularly hard to script here because the dynamic range this piece demands is just enormous, and if there's one thing sample libraries are weak at, it's the reproduction of a real orchestra's dynamic range. The weird staccato horns that do their thing throughout a part of the song weren't too easy either.

[APRIL FOOLS 2018]
Recently, a fellow remixer named Purple (https://www.youtube.com/user/Purple1222119), with Envys help (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCK1pMKtDayl1kxvfc8bZQSQ) discovered an all-new music track hidden deep inside the games ROM: MUS_SEQ_B_BATTLE.sseq! Envy later uploaded a video of this sequence played using the final Boss Battle Themes samples. The file is only present in the 1.0 versions of the US and japanese ROMs, it has been removed from all european releases.
The reason why nobody discovered it earlier is the crazy compression on this one: the sequence file was YAZ0 compressed, but also encrypted using a simple circular bitshift. But besides that, there was still a huge clump of binary data.
Today, I finally managed to decrypt it, which revealed that it was actually an extremely early version of the DS SoundFont format, with WAY LESS limitations. I eventually figured out how to convert it to a usable format and tried playing Purples SSEQ file with this new amazing SoundFont. In this video, I present the REAL way this early, unused battle theme should sound!
