The Carbon Canyon Redwood Grove is a flat, 2-mile round trip walk in Brea to Southern California's largest redwood grove. Over 200 coast redwoods line a shaded trail, making this an easy family-friendly option with minimal elevation gain. The trailhead is in Carbon Canyon Regional Park, which charges a weekday parking fee of $5 and weekend fee of $7 (or $10 on holidays). The grove itself sits at the turnaround point, roughly a mile in. Expect crowds on weekends and holidays. No permit required, but arrive early for parking during peak times.
