Mount Minsi is a 5.1 mile loop on the Pennsylvania side of the Delaware Water Gap, following the Appalachian Trail past Lake Lenape to a summit with views across the river to Mount Tammany. The hike climbs about 1,000 feet through rhododendron tunnels and offers multiple lookout points along the way. It's less crowded than Tammany across the gap but delivers similar scenery. The trailhead has parking off Route 611 and the route is well-marked with white blazes. No permit required. Best in spring and fall when the crowds thin out and temperatures are cooler.
