Reanimal was one of the best horror games that released this year and we finally have the first DLC for it in the form of The Prisoner. In this short story we follow two young protagonists with brand new hats who find themself in the war torn environment of the last section of the base game.
We have to solve new puzzles using a photo camera and also need to outrun a brand new enemy who has a flamethrower. The pacing is great and the scale feels epic with it really feeling like you are in a warzone. There are some cool secrets to find as well and overall I was very happy to find myself in the dark world of Reanimal again. This is still absolute top 10 material for 2026 when it comes to best games.
