This is my real time OpenCL RayTracer running in the Windows 10 command prompt. With 3 levels of shading and 16 raw colors I get 616 dithered colors at 143x40 resolution. This comes at loss of vertical resolution doubling.

Video without dithering and with 2 vertical pixels per character with ASCII block characters: youtu.be/haufblzQMcM

The shiny Stanford bunny has almost as many triangles (4968) as there are characters (5720) in the #terminal. With a HSV color map as skybox the 16 colors really come into play. Works in both Windows/Linux and over SSH with the Linux Subsystem for Windows (WSL).
