In this episode, I recap the first 29 lecture of IOC, and I also provide some exam questions!
I didn’t mention it in the video, but another method for amine synthesis is by the reduction of amides with LAH; since I haven’t formally discussed the synthesis of amides in this lecture series so far, I thought it would be unnecessary to mention.
I hope you enjoyed the video! I'm planning on making a full series of videos if these videos are helpful for people!
Recommended Texts:
J. Clayden, N. Greeves, S. Warren, Organic Chemistry Second Edition, Oxford University Press, 2012. (especially good for mechanism and physical chemistry explanations)
T. W. G. Solomons, C. B. Fryle, S. A. Snyder, Organic Chemistry Twelfth Edition, Wiley-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, 2016.
