Before removing the huge 600 year old roof trusses, a final check around the structure to see the braces, straps and structural reinforcement of the building. Tomorrow the roof trusses will be lifted off with a crane, allowing completion of the wallplate repairs. The trusses themselves will be repaired and then replaced - allowing the roof to be put back on the building.
