While working in Seattle during the summer of 2000, I had a chance to travel to Chehalis, Washington, to explore what was then the Cowlitz, Chehalis & Cascade Railroad and ride behind No. 15, their 1916 Baldwin 2-8-2. The engineer for the day was Harold Borvec, one of the driving forces in restoring the locomotive and still going strong in his 80's. In 2006 the line changed its name to Chehalis-Centralia Railroad and Museum. The video starts with a ride in an open car to Milburn and back and ends with several run-byes at various locations along the line.
