Okay, races don't get much more spectacular than this!

Join me for my first international adventure, the @MatterhornUltraks mountain race in Zermatt, Switzerland. 32km with over 2,000m of elevation gain. I signed up on the basis that it would be an incredible experience but, as I stood on the start line, the magnitude of the task ahead dawned on me!

How would I get on? Would the scenery be worth it? I'll answer one question here... yes, it was most definitely worth it!
