The Rabo de Galo is the second most popular cocktail in Brazil and basically their version of the Negroni. What’s really cool about this cocktail is there’s no single recipe. Every bodega in Brazil has its own version, so if you travel there, you’ll never get the same drink twice. That’s what makes it so fun.
Oh, and don’t hate me for trying with the Portuguese accent, that was a tough one. I think I wasn’t too far at first, but then… my natural accent came back fast 😂

Here’s how I make mine:
1.5 oz barrel-aged cachaça
0.75 oz sweet vermouth
0.75 oz Cynar
Stir over ice, strain into a rocks glass with fresh ice and garnish with orange oil and a lime twist.
