Not everyone grows out of playing with toys.

Daniel Blackbird, owner of Misfit Toys in Houston, Texas, traded his high-paying job in the oil industry to pursue his passion: buying and selling vintage toys and retro collectibles.

Misfit Toys is a family-run vintage toy store with over 100,000 toys in stock — from Generation 1 Transformers to GI Joes and Thundercats. With so much fun to spare, Blackbird is known to give his toys away to children who may not have them at home. (Coming from a man who tried to give away his family dog in exchange for Star Wars action figures as a child, this really does say a lot.)
