He turned his passion for cycling into a full-time job, and his coastal Texas community benefitted greatly because of it.

After following his high school sweetheart back to Texas, Jeff Currier needed a job. He ran a beloved pay-what-you-can bike repair setup in his local park and was encouraged to make it a full-time gig.

Housed out of a humble garage in Seabrook, Texas, Currier and his dedicated volunteers at SlowTwitch Niche Bike Repair donate countless free bikes to the homeless in need of transportation and others in the community.

It was always a tossup for Jeff — did he love bicycles or riding bicycles best? Regardless, his passion for two wheels led to a lifestyle of charity, health, and community cycling. And that's something we could all ride for.
