I stumbled across this song my sophomore year of college and it surprises me that it still hasn't blown up. No matter what the current music trend might be, “iwantuu" consistently makes me want throw my trap hands from 2016 back up in the air.
With support from artists like Ekali and collaborations with artists like Pluto, prounouncedyea is proving to be a heavy contender in the EDM scene. Starting producing when he was 18, the now 21-year-old has already racked up 40 million streams. As noted in his own bio on Soundcloud, “emotional bangers only,” it’s evident that this producer from Syracuse, New York not only understands what audiences want to hear, but what they want to feel.
Although young, pronouncedyea proves his production chops are that of a seasoned vet. In trap music, the build up is just as important as the drop and this guy makes sure that both are seamlessly crafted. If you’re into “iwantuu” as much as I am, do yourself a favor and don’t stop listening here. Pronouncedyea continues to raise the bar with each new track he produces and he'll provide you numerous opportunities to throw up those good ol' trap hands.
