"Canopée (Superorganism remix)" by Polo & Pan

As you may have come to realize, with a Tyler the Curator write-up I usually keep things PG and professionally analytical. But imma be honest...with this one, the passion has bubbled up inside of me like Mt. Vesuvius ready to erupt...and GOD FUCKING DAMN do I love me some Polo & Pan. Here’s why you should too:
Friendship: Paul Armand-Delille & Alexandre Grynszpan are two suave Parisians that met as veteran DJs at the infamous, and unfortunately shutdown institution, Le Baron, and decided four hands were better than two. In this French-ship, Alex comes from cinema and structure, inspired by creatives like Michel Gondry and Spike Jonze, whereas Paul is all about the texture and vibe, organically finding the groove for each track. In my opinion, French house is the hottest thing in electronic music today, and it’s largely thanks to DJs Polocorp & Peter Pan.
Citizens of the world: The reverence Polo & Pan hold for different cultures manifests in their music on a song-by-song basis. Taking a whimsical, free-spirited approach, their album Caravelle, whose ships travel from the beaches of Brazil with an Edu Lobo sample on “Zoom Zoom” and Os Tincoãs sample on “Nana”, to the rainforests of Cameroon on “Bakara” and back to France, featuring actress Victoria Lafaurie on “Canopée” alongside Spanish guitars.
